Each pax was given a laminated Bible verse concerning running. It was explained sometimes runners dissociate by meditating and are able to run long distances despite pain. We then ran repeat miles by warming up for 1/4 mile, tempo run for 1 mile, easy run 1/4 mile, tempo run for 2nd mile, easy run, then run 1/2 mile and return, repeating the process. The mileage was marked with orange cones. Upon returning pax drank bottled water and read their verses if they desired, to the group. The group ended in a circle of trust.
