It’s Winter Time Purple Rain!

Finally, YHC thought while rolling to the AO, I get to Q the prometheus. I have been on the schedule, but had to move it around due to my work schedule during the busy summer months. Not knowing much about band workouts, I was excited and a little nervous to pull this one off. Weinstein (Respect) was the first to arrive, great to see him posting more and more these days. Then, I see Purple Rain, What in the hell is he thinking! He shows up wearing shorts, his quarter zip F3 jacket and a Toboggan! He said, Damn, it’s a little colder than I thought it would be… SMH. The rest start to roll in, Hard Start! A flawless mission statement and disclaimer was given. Let’s do this!

WARM A RAMA

Cheech Girlfights IC x10, Sun Gods forward and reverse IC x10 and Cotton Pickers IC x10, mosey Lap around the building. Hillbillies IC x15

The Thang

Using the bands we performed:

Curls IC x 10, Rows IC x10, Overhead Press IC x10, Chess press IC x10, Overhead Press IC x10

Mosey to the wall: BTTW (with added steps) each Pax gave a 5 count, after every 5 count, we took 3 handstand steps to the right or left. This was pretty tough! I’ll be sure to use that again… Mosey lap around the build.

Next, we partnered up for a Dora: Partner A ran to the light pole and performed 10 Merkins, while Partner B performed leg exercises using leg strength bands that I brought from home. 4 different leg exercises each plus 40 Merkins each.

Mosey back to the fence for another round of bands: same as above. Mosey back to the wall. Wall worms with 5 Merkins x3 rounds. Mosey lap around the building. Another round of Dora: Same as above. Mosey back to the flag for Mary.
