After a string of parking lot work outs, I wanted to get the boys on terra-firma and maybe learn a few new exercises. Well, new isn’t always pretty so while it may have been ugly, there may have been some warranted mumble chatter, and a few perplexed paxs, regardless, it was a good attempt.

After the intro, we headed to a patch of grass next to the church. We started with Absolution, an 8 count exercise which is about 6 counts too many for this 62 year old brain. Next we paired up for a round of Tammy Wynettes and followed it with 4X4’s which is 4 burpees with 4 Merkins and 4 mountain climbers in each burpee.

We moved to a short hill. Pax did a Dora/11’s. One half of the group ran to a cone while their partner did Dirkins on the hill, bear crawled up the hill and did squats totaling 11 each time. Problem was the short sited pax couldn’t find the bright orange cone in the dark.

Next we jogged to a gully and did 6’s  (5+1) doing Bobby Hurley’s and Suma Squats on each side of the gully.

We moseyed to a set of monkey bars where we did 6×6’s with six pull ups while the partner did double wide and diamond Merkins.

We jogged back to the original hill and did another Dora with 100 Erkins, 100 LBC’s, and 100 ??

We ended with some Mary and a round of traditional Superman’s.
