I am not sure why the Beaufort crowd decided to name this workout after a 1960s French blues band, but we are talking about the town with the most oddballs per capita in North America, so there is no point trying to figure out why they do anything they do. Anyway, having only participated in one bands workout ever, I turned to Mr. Google for some ideas. From that research, here is what we did.
WARMARAMA
Mosey to the waterfront deck to have our security camera photo taken and then we did
15 SSHs IC
15 Sun Gods IC forward, and 15 reverse
15 Cotton Pickers IC
Merkin’s Dog (10 Merkins SC, downward dog stretch, 10 more Merkins)
We then moseyed back to the flag where we found Pooh waiting on us. He was six minutes late, so six Burpees were in order, with Flip in Pooh’s ear as we did them. Next, we picked up the bands and moseyed to the dog poop park in front of the post office for . . .
THING ONE
Three rounds of: 15 two hand curls, 15 upright rows, 15 overhead presses (right then left), 10 hand release Merkins IC, and then a palate cleanser run around the post office.
THING TWO
We then ran one block east for three blocks and back west again for three blocks, stopping at each block for: 10 two hand curls, 10 right hand lateral raises, 10 left hand lateral raises, 10 bent rows and 10 Diamond Merkins SC.
We then moseyed to the bench in front of the BB&T for
THING THREE
15 Derkins, 15 Irkins, 15 Dips, then a palate cleanser around the BB&T building
10 Derkins, 10 Irkins, 10 Dips, then a palate cleanser around the BB&T building
7 Derkins, 7 Irkins, 7 Dips, then a palate cleanser around the BB&T building
Finally, we moseyed, via the boardwalk, back to the flag for . . .

MOLESKIN
I was really trying to take a break from all the distance running, but this one was still sneaky long, ending up at 2.73 miles. It was another humid day, but the breeze and the views of Front Street make you forget about the pain. It really is a great AO. Twitty took us out in prayer. Thanks to Pooh for inviting me. As always, it was an honor to lead.
