Back in the Saddle

It’s been a few weeks since I have posted due to traveling for work, a couple days offshore fishing, but mostly a new puppy in the house that finally is starting to get on a schedule and routine.  Shew, I’m too old for this.  I was wondering how hard it would be to bounce back and I have to admit it I’m a little sore typing this back blast.

Cars starting rolling in and one bad ass Jeep with Frosted and Aflac.  As I was getting ready to start, an unfamiliar vehicle pulled in and out rolls an OG Okie.  I knew then I had to bring my A game, so here is how it went down:

After disclaimer and mission statement, we moseyed to the basketball court for :

Side Straddle Hops

Cotton Pickers

Wind Mills

Sun Gods

and some extra stretching

The Thang

Stayed on the BB court for a quick suicide touching all of the lines

Moseyed around the trail along the fence to the middle parking lot for a round of parking space trace burpees, parking space merkins, and then a round of curb toe touches

Next we go to the soccer field.  Jang you missed a dead balls perfect grass morning. Freshly cut, low to the ground, and very dry.  We started in the center of the field and did two rounds of four corners as a group.  After doing the exercise, we went back to the center of the field for a 10 count air press.  The exercises in the corners were: Merkins x 15 SC, Wojo Squats x 15 SC, Mountain Climbers x 15 IC, and Side Straddle Hops x 15 IC

While on the field, we did a round of 7’s that started with one Burpee and 6 WWI’s

Next we did a Lt Dan to from the side line to the center of the field and sprinted back.

Off the grass and to the shelter for two rounds of Dips, erkins, derkins, and Step ups with a lap around the tree of life after each round.

With time closing, to the flag for some Mary.
