Golf cart to the AO? Say it ain’t so.

When Dance Hall put out the request for a sub for the Rucky Duck, YHC jumped at the chance. Long a favorite workout, The RD lets us get to know more about our fellow Pax. It’s just hard to do that in a Boot Camp workout. Heck, i can barely breath during those, let alone strike up a conversation with a fellow rucker!

Somewhere along the way, Nipple Shot suggested we change the AO to the Morehead City CC. That struck me as a great idea so that’s where we gathered at the appointed time. As time ticked away, the conversation turned to Nip and questions were being asked regarding the 2 golf carts that seemed to be at his disposal. One was parked very near the front door while the second was in the garage. The Pax by this point is curious as to which one Nip would take on his brief journey to the AO. As it turned out, he would take neither. Big Mic, with his sharp eyes spotted yet another cart driving towards Nip’s house from behind, assuring the Pax that Duck was on his way to pick up Nip. Arriving just under the 0530 bell, the Pax had plenty of opinions as to legality of riding a golf cart to the AO when a 3 minute walk would to the trick.

YHC rather hurriedly recited the mission statement and disclaimer and off we went, following Nip to his other home across the street so he could grab his ruck.

Leaving Nips house, we rucked back across the street and on to the golf course where Frosted joined us for the remainder of the workout. Nip stopped the Pax after a bit and led us in a few exercises, then we were right back to the ruck. We finished up under the shelter with a couple of minutes to spare and YHC led the Pax with a round of irkins, and a few Mary cool downs and we were done.

Announcements, YHC has the Q tomorrow at West for the HP. Prayer concerns were mentioned for John Jenkins and several of our Pax are traveling this weekend, so travel mercies were requested.

In my PreBlast to the Rucky Duck, I promised everyone that posted would laugh. I was right. The mumbler chatter makes the Rucky Duck the great workout that it is. With Nip and Duck and all the rest of the Pax taking shots at whatever crossed their minds, well, it is entertaining to say the least.

The weather was chilly (just ask Duck) but the skies were clear and the Big Dipper was on full disclosure. It was a great time, full of laughs and just general carrying on.

Thanks for allowing Nip and YHC to lead. Hopefully we can do it again soon.
