The Q arose from his nighttime slumber excited to join the most highly motivated souls who would decide that one more day of fartsacking was against the constitution.  It was a beautiful morning in Carteret County and the excitement was building for another day of fighting the fat dragon.  Once the Q arrived on-scene it was obvious that the troops were highly motivated, highly dedicated, and dang near suffocated to improve the strength and stability of their lower body. It was quickly evident that multiple pax were high strung on distracting the commander from achieving a decisive victory, however, these troops would be denied any attempts to steer this ship off-course.

After an excellent warm-up routine that consisted of the side shuttle hop, bend and reach, rear lunge, and some burpees, the troops were ready to embark on this special journey.  A quick trip through the Texas push up challenge increased the blood flow through the body and ensured all pax would receive a well-rounded training routine. The journey moved to the center parking lot of our beloved park to deliver the Gambetta leg circuit. The circuit included 4 sets of:

  • 20 Squats
  • 20 Rear lunges
  • 20 Forward Lunges
  • 20 Jumping Squats
  • 200-meter sprint (A mozy for some pax)**

As the mumble chatter grew, the Q knew he had to keep the pax heart rates high to deprive those brave souls of needed oxygen. Albeit much respect must go to the most dedicated pax for delivering an excellent display of mumblechatter.

The day concluded with an excellent game of X’s and O’s, followed by a quick math lesson in geometry aka the protractor, and finished off with a glorious routine of freedom, aka Merica, aka the hammer.
