After pulling out a leaking dishwasher at 11:00 last night, the Q was in no frame of mind to lead a workout this morning. He wrote up a weinke at 4:45AM, over a strong cup of coffee, and then  headed to Brandywine. After a little recon run, the crowd showed up for a hard start at 5:30. We had a short mosey to the first median on Brandywine Boulevard for: mountain climbers IC 20, Michael Phelps IC 10, down dog, and 3 Burpee‘s for a late Shaft. We then lined up for warm-up laps around the median: high knees, but kickers, monster walk, and backpedal. We ran to the other side of Highway 24 to the first break in the median for a series of burn outs:  One minute timer with reps of the first exercise, followed by the second exercise AMRAP until the one minute mark. They consisted of: Merkens / alternating shoulder taps. Low slow flutters / heels to heaven. Bobby Hurley‘s / copperhead squats. We then partnered up for 6-3-6: Both partners perform six plank jacks, then ran to the first three of 18 trees in the median, and perform six partner Booyah Merkins. The partners then ran back to the beginning and repeated adding three trees to each set all the way to tree 18. After much confusion with the instructions, Ron Burgundy got ditched by his partner but still tagalong trying to squeeze in a threesome. 👀.  After more running than anticipated, we finished out at the 18th tree and headed to the parking lot near the marina. We did plank side-walks to the middle of the parking lot, three Burpee‘s, switch directions for plank side-walks to the other side.  Rinse and repeat back to the start. After that, we headed to the hill of the marina. Going up the hill, we did 10 Broadjump‘s, 10 mountain climbers, backpedal to the start, and 10 star jumps. Rinse and repeat three times. After that, we backpedaled up the hill and back to the parking lot to partner up. Catch me if you can: partner one backpedal, and partner 2 does five monkey humpers before catching up and tagging out. We stopped at the Grass field by the playground and circled up. We performed Catalina wine mixer‘s, prisoner ups, pickle pounders, prisoner ups, J Lo’s, and prisoner ups. Holliday Mansion does not like prisoner ups.   We then moseyed  back to the first break in the median for a set of five Texas Merkins, and then across Highway 24 and through the gate for another set of five Texas Merkins. Time for Mary: American hammers 20 low slowFlutters 10, heels to Heaven 30, slow Peter Parker’s 10, and reverse snow angels 10. We had 30 seconds to get back to the flag for a hard stop.

After count-off and name a Rama, we had announcements of Saturday’s workouts, and prayer requests for our F3 brother’s family medical issues, we also prayed for the school board and their challenges. The Q took us out and a brief prayer (Kiwi has to go to work!!!) to finish up the morning.
