YHC gave proper notice during the pre-blast that expectations may or might not be met. I rolled to the AO finding men already gathered enjoying some 2nd F. Upon exiting the car Madoff yelled 2 minutes but it was really 3. 6 men were present when the Hoodie patrol rolled up, Big Mic and Nippleshot. It’s not cold yet fellas. Madoff gave us the good news about bosses day and he received a gift card. the word was if we could quit early he would treat the PAX. Nip wanted to know if he could get a sandwich but Holiday informed him he probably can’t get the PAX coffee with that 10 dollar card.3 F’s were given and the old school mission statement because YHC couldn’t find where the new one is on the website. Disclaimer and we were off.

Mosey to the parking lot by the basketball courts for 56 SSH’s IC, Cotton Pickers x 15 IC, &Sun Gods x 10 each way. Mosey to the flag for Hillbillies x 15IC, Abe Vigodas x 10IC and some stretching to make Nip happy

THE THANG

Line up on the sideline of the soccer field. YHC informed PAX we would be doing 56’s. We would do 5 of one excercise on one side and six on the other doing 3 rounds of each. Once again YHC would like to point out that B shoes were a good idea for today. The first set would be burpees x 5 and LBC’s IC x 6 at the other (3 Rounds). It was dark but you could tell where everyone was because of the sloshing of the water. Madoff accused YHC of splashing during the run and I couldn’t say I didn’t. Many PAX ran all the way to the cement path (more on that term later) or used the bench next available. Second set would involve American hammer x 5 IC and Alternating Shoulder Taps x 6 IC (3 rounds). The last set was WW1’s x 5 and Merkins x 6. By this time the Pax had figured out the theme and that it was the Q’s bday. Walking 10 count so Big Mic could catch up on their conversation and Nip could get his Hoodie.

Mosey to the stadium for BTW x 5 each man and Preachers Chair x 6. 3 rounds. Q thought it would be a good idea to alternate sides for each but when the count doesn’t start for BTW some take it upon themselves to start. Mosey long way around the parking lot to the middle parking (no Nip we are not coming back this way so get your sweatshirt) lot for some Hot Apple Turnover. I didn’t plan this but the parking lot was there and the lines looked so inviting. We only did have the lot and moseyed to the shelter.

Once again 56 is the number you need to know 1st round 5 of each dips IC, Earkins, Step Ups IC and Derkins followed by 6 of each dips IC, Earkins, Step Ups IC and Derkins. 3 rounds of that. As always the Q got confused on what number we were on and the young people set me straight. YHC was also correct on going to fast on the some of the exercise. I believe I heard the words Steamer style  muttered at one point but can’t point out the culprit. It was time to head for the flag but glistening of the sprinklers on the field were so inviting. Almost called for a shirtless run through of the sprinklers. OK head to the flag.

Time for some Big Sexy. The first exercise is the pickle pounder on the cement. Holiday did his best Jang impression by asking why were doing them on the pavement. He could not comprehend doing pickle pounders on the cement, while we did WW1’s in the wet grass. Once again the Q was showing his age by making a Beverly Hillbillies reference to the cement pond. When I was a kid we had to make our own cement. We had to chew up rocks, add sand and some other mixture and spit it on the ground to make cement. we didn’t have this pavement you young people get to use.Pickle Pounders x 15 IC, Boss Tweeds x 15 IC and Monkey Hiumpers x 15 IC. It was during the 2nd round nip asked YHC how long he had been married and that made me think of a joke. I only know two. As I told it I completely butchered it and Nip being the joke master called me on and gave me correction, He reminded me that you should never get your wife and your girl friend mixed up. Ask Nip for the correct version. YHC was encouraged to give more thrust during the Boss tweeds and it was enough to end by asking for some smokes. Hard Stop insert your own joke.

Prayers for Madoff’s nephew, John Jenkins and others. Holiday took us out leaving us closer to God.

I’m not sure about what was said today but I heard a lot of laughter. That is one of the things that keeps me coming back is the fellowship between men. I’m not sure if I would be in the shape I am today without this group of men. I could easily fall into the lay on the couch and be a slug type. Thank you men for coming out today and supporting me and every other Q. I have met a lot of men I would never have the pleasure of meeting if it were not for F3. Each and every man has something to bring to the table and should post as much possible.
