1 Year Anniversary & Hurricane Party

“Can’t believe it is not raining.” YHC said when I woke up this morning with a big smile.  All weather reports showed that my one year anniversary was going to be a washout. It’s party time at the “THE GREATEST AO IN CARTERICO… THE ROLLING STONE!!!!” A little breezy as I start setting up… Music ✔️, Lightshow ✔️, Griswald approved refreshments ✔️. The first PAX to roll in was an unfamiliar face. Paparazzi has been with F3 for quite some time, but has not posted for about a year due to injury. So glad he has decided to join us again, super nice dude! Ponch rolls in and continues to be a solid newcomer. With everyone consumed with thoughts on the hurricane, I was so humbled to see some of my mentors and friends arrive like Purple Rain, Griswald, Cheech, Birdman, Frank and Beans and Navy. Other PAX keep rolling in as Navy and I took a short mosey to check out the AO. Back to the PAX for a Hard Start! Mission Statement and Disclaimer were stated.

WARM A RAMA

Cotton Pickers IC x 10, Cheech Girlfight IC x 10 forward and reverse, Hillbillies IC x 15, mosey to the bleachers. Sungods x10 forward and reverse.

THE THANG

Using the guest side of bleachers, we got in teams of 3. Partner A performed Erkins at the bottom. Partner B went to the top and started performing Squats. Partner C would Bear Crawl to the top and all 3 would then rotate. 5 to 6 rounds were completed. Mosey to the track…

Continuing in teams: Partner A  stayed at one end of the track and perform Squats, while Partner B moseyed to the other end of the track and performed Plank Jacks. Partner C would run the half track to relieve Partner B and rotate… 2 rounds were completed. Mosey to the Home side bleachers.

More rounds of the same as the guest side bleachers. Changed  exercises to Derkins at the bottom and Dips at the top. Great job guys. Moseyed to the  concession stand for BTTW, Buttercups IC x20, WW1s SC x20. Mosey to the school for another round of BTTW, Buttercups IC x20, WW1s SC x20.  Mosey to the flag for Mary. LSF x15, Box Cutters x15 (Cheech), Mountain Claimers x10 (Ponch). Hard Stop!

COUNT A RAMA, NAME A RAMA and ANNOUNCEMENTS about upcoming Q and storm preparations. PRAYER REQUESTS for everyone in the wake of this storm were lifted up as Kiwi lead us in prayer. Thanks brother!

A special thank you to everyone who  came out to support me today, knowing that we all have a lot on our minds and hearts with this storm heading in our direction. I certainly hope everyone stays safe during the storm  and continues to stay Carteret Strong. After one year in F3, I have made some lifelong friends and continue to learn from them everyday!
