Gordy Lee Back Blast

As I was pulling up to the fort entrance, I see cars lines up on the side of the road and instantly I worry did I have the starting time wrong, or is the Park Service running late.  As I sit in the car, my mind instantly switches to every minute we wait, the sun is getting higher and the humidity is getting thicker.  About 7:35 the gate keeper arrives and we head to the parking lot.

Since we are already late and X-box and Shroom were in line with me, we stretched a little and decided to run the beach side first.  Being the slowest PAX member today worked out well since X-Box and Shroom had cleared out all of the spider webs for me.  Thanks Guys!  X-Box and Shroom circled back and met me on the last stretch of the trail to finish up.
