Blart messaged me the night before the 3/1 Hashmark asking if we were going to run the Brandywine loop.  He said he was not interested in doing so, therefore I promised him that we would not do that.  I did not promise that we wouldn’t cover the same distance while doing Bear Crawls, Crawl Bears, Burpees, Parking Lot Snakes, and 200 Merkins.  Forgive me Blart, it looked better on paper.

The Pax gathered in the parking lot with 30 seconds to the hard start expecting to see Kiwi screaming in on 2 wheels.  Sure enough, there he was.  After a quick introduction, mission statement, and disclaimer, we were on a northbound mosey up Brandywine Blvd.  We stopped at the Lord Granville intersection for:

WARMARAMA

  • Side Straddle Hops X 20 IC
  • Cotton Picker X 15 IC
  • Abe Vigoda X 15 IC

THE THANG

Then we continued our mosey to the pool parking lot for 3 rounds of 4 Corners with the Pax doing 10 Merkins at each corner, facing south. (120 Merkins)

Mosey to the small clubhouse parking lot for 3 rounds of Bear Crawls / Crawl Bears across the parking lot and back.

Mosey to the large clubhouse parking lot for Parking Lot Snakes with Prisoner Squats at the end of each white line. (~280 Prisoner Squats)

Circle around the flag pole where YHC asked the Pax to thank a veteran, active duty service member, reservist, or member of Homeland Security today.  TClaps to those of you who have served or are currently serving.

Mosey to the driving range for Suicides with 2 Burpees as we passed each flag.  YHC had hoped to use all 4 flags but time was running out so I called an Omaha and cut it short at 2 flags.

Mosey back down the Boulevard, performing 10 Merkins at each of the 8 intersections/driveways.  (80 Merkins)

The Pax performed better than planned since we arrived at the gate with about 2 minutes to spare so YHC called for American Hammers and Box Cutters.

Then a short mosey to the flag.

Prayers were lifted up for John Jenkins and Laettner and his family.

Thanks to Squid for giving me the opportunity to lead this morning and the Pax for continuing to inspire and push me.
