The original Weinke was found to be used at the Knarr.  I dug thru all of my workouts and found that little index card.  Beat up but still legible.  It is going to be a fun going back old school at the expansion known as THE KNARR…….

Forcing Ricardo and Buckeye to show ( thankfully) otherwise it would have been YHC and Kiwi (by the way he completed a marathon in DC on Saturday in 4 hours and then posted Monday,  strong brother).  With seconds to go Kiwi railed in on two wheels and made it to the wonderment of the pax.  With all HIM’s present formalities spoken and off we went.    Quick Mosey over to the far end of the parking lot in front of the Ft Macon trail.

WARMARAMA

  • Side straddle Hops, Cotton pickers, Wind mills, Hillbillies, Rt over Left, Left over Rt

THE THANG

  • Heading out the fairly dry trail the pax ran over to the first station and performed
  • 10 SC Diamond Merkins, 20 SC Double wide Merkins, 10 Tempo Merkins, 20 IC Carolina Dry Docks
  • The pax would then hold plank position while one pax would do 10 SC Erkins on the bench

Run around the newly painted trail.  New route, guess YHC hasn’t ran it in awhile.  Ended up at station two

  • 20 IC LBC’s, 10 IC Box cutters, 20 IC Boss Tweeds, 10 IC Pickle Pounders

Off to station number three between the baseball and softball fields.

  • 10 SC Merkins, 20 IC Air presses, 10 IC Catalina wine mixers, 20 IC Air presses

One last stop over by the baskerball court

  • 20 SC Heels to the sky, 10 (8 count) Dr W’s, 20 IC American Hammers, 10 IC Dying Cockroaches

The pax would then head over to the parking lot where we started and perform

  • Global warming with exercises called by YHC.   To the right and stop for 5 Burpees, Left and stop for 5 SC Monkey Humpers, Right and stop for 5 IC Low slow flutters, Left and stop for 5 IC Hello Dollies
  • Having found this exercise way back when YHC started the Knarr, it had to be experienced by the newbies
  • Captain Therkins would be had by all     1 X 4 + 5   LBC’s, American Hammers, Merkins  count up to 5 X 20 + 5

The pax would have just enough time to head over to the Amphitheatre for Peoples Chair 10 count down and back. Recover then on to BTTW 5 count. Recover then rinse and repeat both.  Bringing us to 3 minutes which the pax would head back to the flag and do a little stretching to finish us up.  Hard stop.    It was pleasure replaying the first workout at the Knarr.  Thanks Ricardo for putting out the call for a Q. A familiar set of keys, which I gladly give back until another time.
