Stampede- Miami Vice edition

In the gloom as I pulled into the Sanitary lot, Lamar and Flip were returning from a standard. Flip was fighting off a cold and trying to figure out how to breath thru a snot encrusted nose. Lamar started to share his adventures in the vicinity of the fuel docks with a multi-million dollar yacht tied up with the motor running and across the street a bunch foreign looking individuals that were getting something out of the trunk of a car were all startled by Flip and Lamar as they ran by and were scurrying like roaches to hide. Like a good Q, looking out for the good of the pax, it was quickly decided that a detour was in order.
As the pax arrived and go time was quickly approaching I went over the mileage options. Everything from 3 to almost 6.5 miles. A rolling mission statement was given as we headed down Arendell Street for a few blocks before cutting back over to Evans Street towards the bridge. As always the pax grouped together by pace and went their selected mileage. There are a few things I learned today…

1) Second Mile knows where every possible bathroom and porta john is located in the downtown area.
2) Pasqually does not like the feel of compression clothing but continues to wear it.
3) Madoff lets Frosted Flake make all of his decisions.
4) Misty does not like to wear shorts over his leggings because he likes to show off how well the fit on his ass is.
5) When Flip-o-va has a cold he does not talk.
6) Lamar pretends to be Don Johnson in Miami Vice when he is not working out.
7) Jang-a-lang likes to do crochet at stoplights, I think he is making trivets.
8) Steamer does not floss on weekends.
9) Duckbutter is one of the unluckiest people when it comes to tripping on things and breaking bones.

With all the pax safely making it back to the endex we counted off and Madoff took us out in prayer. Always an honor to lead.
