Lightning flashing across the sky could not keep these PAX members from posting this Tuesday morning.  As YHC pulled into the upper lot of Rotary Park, he saw a few regulars already there and awaiting to see what mother nature would throw at us.  As time began to creep closer to the beginning of a wet workout, others began to roll in and those from the QAR got back in their vehicles and ventured up to join in.  Warnings of 4, 3, 2, and 1 were given as Nippleshot rolled in sometime within the warnings.  Already apologizing for missing Fridays ruck, which he HC’d for, it was quickly noted that he had been saving up a little mumblechatter for the morning.  That somewhat explains the title of this BB.  As a flawless mission statement was recited, the rain began to let loose a small beating upon us, but it quickly stopped as we mosey to the picnic shelter for a little:

Warmarama

Cotton Pickers

SSH

Sun Gods

Hillbillies

Some Various stretches

Since we were already here at the picnic tables, YHC decided that we would go ahead with a little table work before we get to the real stuff.  Here is a breakdown of said table exercises:

The Thang

2 Rounds (15 reps each)

Urkins, Dips, Step Ups

2 Rounds (10 Reps each)

Urkins, Dips, Step Ups

Lots of concentration going on here as the step ups were a little tricky with wet shoes but we managed to get through with no incidents.  With mumblechatter at a real high, thanks to Nippleshot, we ventured back to the upper lot for a circuit workout that was literally made up on the fly while table work was in progress.

4 Rounds stopping at certain light poles for the following:

!st Pole: 5 Merkins

2nd Pole: 10 LBC’s

3rd Pole: 15 Plank Jacks

4th Pole:20 Freddie Mercuries

5th Pole:  15 Air Squats

Wall Work was next as there was a slight moan from the group as to do we have to do this now.  With that in mind, we performed 3 rounds of people’s chair with arms out for a 10 count per man while adding 10 Carolina Dry Docks in between chair sessions.

With a hard stop approaching, we had a little time for:

Mary

Dying Cockroach

American Hammer

LSF’s

Box Cutters

Great push this morning.  Announcements and prayer requests were made.  YHC took the group out in prayer.

Many thanks tho those who posted.  When the weather seems to not be in our favor, many want to fartsack and say I will try again tomorrow.   I am just as guilty as the next man who says those words.  .  Working out in various types of weather just shows our commitment that we have made with each other and ourselves.

Until next time…..
