Ron Burgandy reached out to Steamer and myself early in the evening, last night to see about converging our Warmarama and COT.  The plan was to bring together the gentleman that may not get a chance to have met each other. We both jumped at the chance!

I’m sure Ron Burgandy was also a little concerned as to whether or not I had fully recovered from my trip to Sin City. I don’t know whether I was or not, but I could feel the comraderie of the PAX pulling me in, ready or not. Mentally, I was definitely ready to saddle back up! With a beautiful morning in the works, I was ready to get us moving the bells.

Convergawarmarama:

  • Light mosey
  • side straddle hops
  • Carolina dry docks
  • hill billies
  • sun gods
  •  I’m going to claim jet lag related dementia for the rest.

Mosey back to the rally point, split up.

The Thang

I have been chomping at the bit to use my new timer app, so I came up with a little tabata style work out.

Work would be done 40 seconds on with 20 second rest:

  • R bicep curl
  • L bicep curl
  • Air squat w/ bell
  • R shoulder press
  • L shoulder press
  • WW1’s
  • Upright rows
  • merkins
  • overhead tricep press
  • mosey

Rinse and repeat x3

Mary

  • American hammer on the count of Ronny B
  • LBC by YHC count
  • WW1 on Pedro’s count

Hard stop

Countarama

About this time, the HIN’ers rolled up, knocked out their conterama and we all came together for announcements, prayer concerns, and Shroom took us out for the COT.

I’m not sure exactly what it is that makes me come back every morning, but it’s unlike anything I ever got slinging weights in the gym.  There’s just something about being here with men from all walks of life, looking for something similar. There is something great going on in F3 Carterico, hell F3 in general that maybe isn’t something that you put into words. Maybe it’s a model for society to get back to. Having each other’s backs, picking up the 6, motivating your fellow man.
