I’ll take late November mornings like this one every day.  A very slight breeze and above 50 degree temperature greeted us as we met at CCC by the Sea.  With no FNG’s in tow, a quick disclaimer was given and off the HIN’ers went to the front parking lot for some warmarama that included:

Side Straddle Hops, Cotton Pickers, Windmills, Hill Billies, Sun Gods, and some stretching at the end.

No reason to put it off so we headed to the second most favorite incline in Carteret County to do a twist on a crowd favorite, the 7’s now the  7 1/2.

Starting at the top hill, the PAX did 6 burpees, stopping half way down the hill to do one merkin, running to the bottom to do one plank jack IC.  On the way back up the hill, we stopped half way to do another merkin finishing at the top with 5 burpees.  This continued until the 7 was completed adding a merkin half way on each run up and down.  As we were deep into it, I guess we can say now that it has been declassified, there was a black ops sighting in our AO.  T-CLAPS guys.  Strong showing this morning.

Next we went to the wall to catch our breath for a 5 count peoples chair air press per pax finishing off with a 5 count balls to the wall per PAX.

Back to the front parking lot we went for a bear craw to the first median, Lt Dan to the next, Bear Craw to the next median, and Lt Dan to the last median.  At each median, we Al Gored till the 6 was in before we started to the next exercise.  We reversed the exercises and came back to the starting point.  We each got on a piece of curb for two rounds of: 10 curb merkins, followed by a curb plank left and right arm up, finishing with 10 alternating toe taps.

Off for a short mosey to the student center porch where we did Dips, Derkins, Erkins, Step Ups x20, x10, x5

With a little time left we did a short mosey around the parking lots back to the flag for a round of mary with ea pax leading an exercise.  As we finished, one of the most beautiful Carterico sunrises you will ever see was shared by all.  We are truly blessed to call Carterico home.  Blart took us out in a great prayer.

There are a lot of workout options in the morning and thank you for choosing the HIN.  There is also a lot of chatter and opinions about the number of AO’s now, Black ops that aren’t Black any more, etc.  Change is good and F3 Carterico is growing and changing so something is going right.  We have something for everyone, and there is no reason not to post.  To keep us healthy and grow, we have to expand and head lock as many FNG’s as we can, and keep them included and coming back. I’m in to do my part.

With that, I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.  I am sorry I will miss the convergence tomorrow as I will be 5k  turkey trotting in G-Vegas.   good luck to everyone participating in the Turkey Burner.

Until Next time
