I can’t lie, I went to bed last night knowing we were going to get hammered by rain and wind this morning, so i was less than pumped on the drive to WCHS at 5:10 in the rain. Part of me was hoping that it would be a no show event and i could head on to Cox’s. As 5:25 rolled around, i saw some head lights distinctive of a Ronnie B minivan, so he fullfilled his HC from yesterday. Next thing I knew, Deebo jumped in my truck and said” We doing this?” and the rest is history. Ronnie B suffering from a head cold and seeing I was in good hands to fight the fartsack headed back home. So Deebo and I sucked it up and off we went:

Mission Statement given and Warm Up:

SSH IC 8-10

Cotton Pickers IC 10

Runner lunge each side SC 10

The Thang:

Rack, Stack, and Get Back

5 Mountain Climbers, 10 Plank Jacks, 15 LBC, 20 Squats, 25 Low Slow Flutters with a mosey in between from front entrance to tennis courts and back. Upon completion, we reversed and went backwards and finished with some Hillary Style stretches. 1.5-1.75 miles moseying

I’m not going to dive too deep into all the excuses i have for my absence over the last months but i’m glad to have been able to lead and participate today. Today is another example of the power of F3.. One man knows my need to get back in shape and shows up sick just to support me in a low-key comeback Q, and another shows in the rain only to be an encouragement saying “I’m only here because you were on point today”. I’m thankful for both. As Deebo and I moseyed, in between catching my breath we were able to cover alot of ground that, even good friends, don’t often dive into. We discussed the Book of James, the relationship between Grace and Works, and our take on salvation.

As I wrap up this backblast, I say a special prayer for Holiday and M (LeAnn) and the Medical Staff caring for her, who is undergoing surgery today in Chapel Hill. I’m thankful for good friends, for the 3rd F that is challenging and growing us in our personal walks with Christ, and for all you guys behind the scenes of F3 keeping it all rolling.

It was a pleasure to lead today.
