It was a strange morning at the knarr. Kiwi pulled in before Ricardo 👀. Then, tonya walks up without any shoes on. We questioned whether that was intentional or not, and it was. 🤷‍♂️.  At a hard start we took off for the other side of the parking lot and lined up for some warmaRama laps: butt kickers, high knees, side shuffle, monster walk, backpedal. We then circled up for: girl fights, Active hamstring stretch, Superman‘s, and up dogs.  After warmup we headed over to the picnic shelter and sat up on the table for a set of: American hammer 20, big boy sit-ups with bench squat 10, box squat 20, power step up 10 each. Next we headed to the shuffleboard courts that have a high bar and low bar on each end. We did 20 each of: High bar Merkin, low bar Durkin, low bar merkin, and High bar Durkin. We moseyed back to the picnic tables for one more round of the exercises listed above. Next was 20 donkey kicks on the amphitheater wall followed by 20 hand release Merkins, and 20 IC air presses. We ran a palette cleanser lap around the soccer goals, then rinse and repeat the amphitheater exercises. After another palette cleanser lap around the soccer goal, we partnered up by the horseshoe pits. Partners ran an opposite laps around the rec building and met for partner World War I‘s 10, then ran back to the horseshoe pit for five Burpee jumpOvers each. A second lap was done, this time involving the tennis courts and the building, meeting in the middle for wheelbarrow alternating shoulder taps 10 each. Back at the horseshoe pit, 5 plank jump overs each.  then a third lap involving all 3 tennis courts / building with Booyah Merkens, and back to the start for 5 more plank jump overs.  At this point Ricardo called out the Q for starting before the six was in, and rightly so. Sometimes the Q gets a little caught up and forgets what he knows to be one of the most important principles of F3. 🤦‍♂️.  Apologize. To make up for it, we ran over to the playground, where we found a Newport odor at its finest. The smell could only be described as raw sewage, or someone had hidden a dead body somewhere close by weeks ago. Due to the smell we could only stomach one round of some partner work in the mulch. Partner one crawl-bear, then bear-crawled back-and-forth across the playground, while partner 2 held an arm hang or performed pull-ups. Flapjack. The rest was an Omaha, before the Q dry heaved from the smell, and we ran back to the parking lot. Time was short, and we had already done some Mary at the beginning, so we did a jack web set of copperhead squats and tempo merkins, 4, 8, 12, 16 IC. Then each man found a spot on the parking bumpers for 30 box jumps, and 15 single leg dips each OYO. Hard stop and a jailbreak to the flag. Count-off and a few brief announcements happened, and we closed in a prayer to include Gilligan, tinactin, and Ricardo‘s father-in-law.  We included their families and showing the Lord‘s love through others.

The knarr is a great AO (despite areas of stench), with so many options. YHC would like to post there more often, but Monday bridge training runs will be calling my name soon.   The men pushed hard today through the high reps and humidity, and they are better for it. Hopefully, tonya didn’t cut his bare feet or step in any presents that the dog walkers left. 💩  Thanks Denver for leading a great OA, and for the Q opportunity today.   SYITG.
