Rolling into what was most likely my last Q at the Knarr and Carterico I was excited to see what Newport had in store. I was surprised to see PAX vehicles in the parking lot at 0515. Newman saved me a scouting trip by running the loop for a standard and Blart was passing out candy all night.

A majority of the Knarr regulars showed up. Although missing a few, we synchronized our watches to Monkey Standard Time and a hard start reminded YHC that he forgot how the mission statement started… After minimal prompting it all came back and we were off to a mosey.

Warm a Rama led the PAX to 15 SSH, 10 Cotton Pickers, and 10 Hill Billies.

The Thang

We took off for a lap around Fort Ben in the wrong direction. Along the way we made 9 stops. 5 stops we prefromed Merkins x 10, LBC IC x 10, and the Standard Squat x 10. At 4 stops we found picnic tables and bleachers. On those we did Derkins x 10, erkins x 10, and Dips x 10.

The Game

We partnered up, seenings Kiwi was fresh of his triathlon we counted him being half awake and he was part of a three-some.

Partner A ended up on one end of a soccer field and B on the opposite. YHC brought out the flying disc for a quick round of ultimate Frisbee. Scoring team chooses an exercise for losing team to perform.

At one point two members of the Respect PAX thought they were 22 again and made contact. Resulting in Blart deflating one of Monkey Wrenches lungs. The whole time Ron Burgandy was cheering like a cheerleader from the Longest Yard. Once reinflated the PAX finished the game and mosyed to the shovel flag.

We ended our team with a round of big sexy at Ricardo’s request and some stretching. At 0614 it was called a hard stop.

I appreciate the opportunity to lead. I’ve really enjoyed my time in F3 Carterico and will continue to for the next few weeks.
