YHC was pumped to get to Q The Field of Dreams on Saturday.  It’s the Super Bowl of sites to Q in the West.  I wasn’t sure of how many would turnout but I went to bed the night before with 1 HC….thanks Cooter.  So, I knew it wasn’t going to be just Buoy and I.  I rolled up and Staypuft was already there getting in a little standard before workout.  The PAX began to roll in steadily and from a distance I see two gazelles running toward the PAX…it was Tater Tot and Couch Potato.  I am going to start a gofundme page for Couch Potato…we need to get him a car…poor guy runs everywhere.

1 minute warning was given and we were off.

Tony Romo didn’t show so I had to stumble through the mission statement by myself.

Coupons were there waiting for everyone…I had a box of 2” x 2” sticks cut and placed them in a box.  Each of the PAX were to pick a stick….this was their stick for the day.  Everyone repeated….”this is my stick…there are many like it but this one is mine”.  I caught Pillbox and Linus comparing stick lengths.  Before it got awkward with those two I explained the exercise.  Run with your stick to the wood line….(~400 meters)…when a member of the PAX gets there….stop and drop your stick and do 5 burpees and run back.  The theory was to make runners….Sparkles and Griswold run more than others.

I didn’t count on members of the group sandbagging….not to call names….Cooter & Couch Potato.
