Waking up and feeling like you just went to sleep is not the way to start the day.  So I arose quickly to find my F3 brethren.  Not sure if Buckeye is a spy or he just likes to be at The Knarr by 0500.  I rolled in to a white pickup, yep this is the place.  YHC took off to do a little scouting to see if he could get the lights on at the AO, but to no avail only the pavilion was compliant this am.  Making my way back to where the flag is usually planted the pax start thundering in.  Couple of speed demons this morning came rolling in hot, but way ahead of time.  And……… in rolls Pasqually on 4 wheels being 30 seconds earlier than normal, parking so Birdman was not getting out of this workout.  F3 mission statement given, flawlessly yes for RonB absence, disclaimer if the Q doesn’t make it drag him back to his car.  Starting with a glorious Mosey around the parking lot.  Pasqually admiring the perfect temperature, pretty sure I heard him say, “It is not to cold and it is not to hot, great workout weather.”  Stop for a little WARMARAMA.

Enjoying the Mumble chatter already the pax moseyed back by the amphitheater to continue the Theme of the day (12,31,2018).

THE THANG

Pax will do 3 rounds of 31 exercises plotted out like this:

  • 10 Merkins SC, right into 10 Diamond Merkins SC, right into 11 Double Wides SC no rest in between
  • 10 LBC’s IC, right into 10 Low Dollys IC, right into 11 Dying Cockroaches IC no rest in between
  • 10 Pickle Pounders IC, right into 10 Monkey Humpers IC, right into 11 Boss Tweeds IC no rest in between (Big Sexy)

Having used the Pax to help count gave YHC a little breath back.  That stomach flu was no joke put me out for nearly two days straight.  Struggled a bit this morning, but made it through.   So off we Moseyed to the lighted Pavilion for more.

Pax will do 2 rounds of 20 exercises plotted out like this:

  • 10 Step ups IC starting with left side then 10 Step ups IC starting with right side
  • 10 Erkins SC, right into 10 Derkins SC

Now that the arms are getting tired the Pax moseyed over to the closest Tennis court for the next round.

Pax will do 1 round of each plotted out like this:

  • Starting with 9 Burpees at one end, run to other end and do 8 Burpees, and continue down to 1 Burpee
  • Same concept but with Plankjacks SC starting at 9 down to 1

Having only 12 minutes to go the Pax moseyed back to the flag.  Having only 9 Qic was going to do a partner thing much to Gert’s dismay with all the sickness going around, we Omaha’d and did Qic’s favorite from the Lexicon (look it up Pasqually). Captain Therkins were in store.

  • 1 American Hammer X 4 LBC’s + 5 Merkins  Lots of Mumlechatter on this and the correct way to do the Hammers

With only minutes to go it would be a pax lead Mary.  Starting with Pasqually and don’t put your feet on the ground and twist the shoulders when doing these American Hammers.  Gertrude wanted to finish the pax off so he called for Hand release Burpees OYO.  WOW that was a tough finish.  Count off, Announcements, Prayer concerns, Richardo took us out in COT.

I wasn’t sure how well I would do this morning having had that nasty stomach flu that went for almost two days straight.  I may have struggled but hearing all the mumble chatter kept me moving and motivated.  It was another glorious day in Newport.
