YHC has missed the fields of Rotary Park since moving down towards the Cape Carteret side of Hwy. 24. When asked by Monkey Wrench to Q, immediately thoughts of returning to The Octagon flooded YHC’s mind so it was time for round 2 in the ring.

Even with the threat of wet weather, which seems to be a staple for Laettner led Q’s, a total of 10 PAX showed up on time, ready to get a little better, in every way. Mission Statement, Meaning and all that good stuff of F3 was shared and then a mosey over to he middle pole in the double soccer field for some fun.

Going around clockwise, the PAX were instructed to mosey together to a Pole, perform said exercise as a group, and then get back to the middle pole in whatever way instructed by YHC. Upon returning to the big middle pole, Monkey Humpers IC x 12 were done except for one round that threw Lassie off of 16, bringing our count to 100 by the end of the day.

Jail Break to Fence and back for a Hard Stop!

Today was fun. Especially being around guys that I don’t get to see near as much any more. Almost 1/2 of the PAX got in mileage before the workout, working towards their goals of marathons and relays. Frosted fit in 7 miles while Squeeler tripped Jang and smoked him on the home stretch of their standard. Mahindra posted today and really pushed himself. He showed just how much Horse Power a Chinese Tractor has when he had to carry YHC on his back. T-claps to you for pushing yourself in your first week of F3 man! Buckeye has been a posting machine lately and it shows. And Rainbow did his thing.

Prayer Requests were shared, and there are definitely those hurting with loss and sickness. Mahindra shared of an opportunity to speak into a young mans life in VA during the weekend and we gathered together and lifted up all of the needs to the Lord.

It was a joy to lead and thanks to Monkey Wrench for the opportunity. Rotary is a great place to do some pretty cool things. Nothing like Tuesdays or Thursdays showing up and seeing those “Field Closed” signs and interpreting them wrong, time and time again! I’m always better after a morning with the men of F3.
