There was some pretty intense recruiting going on as YHC neared this edition of the Hashmark. If it takes some gifs to get Sugarpants and Buckeye out, it’s worth it. Ricardo commented on Slack about the struggle to break through and post in the cold and rain, and said that he wasn’t sure if he was ready to drink that “Kool-Aid” yet. Some other fellas who have been just getting broke in to this thing we love and call F3, were extremely curious as to what a day would be like in the lows and rain. What it really boiled down to, was there were some guys that committed to post, no matter what the weather brought, and thats what pushed other guys to do the same.
A Baker’s Dozen gathered on a crazy and amazing morning to tackle a good bit of running for the Hash. After a quick welcome and with no FNG’s (although Steamer mentioned about the influx of new guys who he hadn’t even had the chance to get to know yet) it was time for
Sun God’s IC x 10 (Forward and Reverse)
Good Mornings IC x 10
Imperial Walkers IC x 10
YHC’s plan was to cover over 3 miles which is just a little farther than the Brandywine Loop, so not wasting any time it was off to the races, with the goal to keep the PAX as close together as possible. There is always such a vast difference at the levels that men can perform certain things, whether it be running or exercises. Between mosey’s and indian runs, the PAX did
1/4 Mile
Merkins SC x 25

Back at the Shovel Flag and with Pasqually’s undying support along the way, especially on the great mixup of workouts, it was time for
LBC’s IC x 25
World War 1’s SC x 13 and then a HARD STOP
Today was fun. I love Q’ing in the rain, and its even better when its cold. When men post on days like today, it says a little something about their character and drive. It shows they are stupid, yes. But it also shows they are working towards something and want to achieve their goals. Ricardo, it’s some of the best Kool-Aid i’ve ever had! T-Claps to every man who came, because each car that pulled up, boosted morale a little more. Pillbox showed huge gains as opposed to the last time this exercise loop was done! Absolute studs in Second Mile, Squid, Monkey Wrench, Steamer and Pasqually. UPS might have been frustrated and wanted to turn left on to Breezy lane at one point, but didn’t stop running the whole time and pushed through. Kiwi and Milton impressive that you guys came on such a day when so many other “veterans” never budged in the fartsack. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to lead you fine men.
Prayer Requests were given along with the upcoming Saturday Q’s and UPS took us out in prayer. As always, my joy to serve, and thanks Pas for the invite.
