I’m not sure how I have pulled it off but I haven’t Q’d a boot camp workout in over 3 months.  I thought I had been forgotten about until Sparkles hit me up about 16 hours before the Boondocks workout and asked if I wanted to Q.  He said he couldn’t find anyone else that wanted to Q in 14 degree weather and I was his last option…like the last kid picked for a pick-up game.  The opportunity came up because Pasqually gave an excuse about being DR at the last minute.  I hesitantly accepted the challenge even though my legs, arms and chest were still sore from Sparkles beat down on Saturday.

I was super early (5:25) and was surprised to see a few cars already in the parking lot ready to go.  I was confused to see Randy from the Christmas Story there but it turned out to be Backup all bundled up.  Navy was completing a little standard warm up down Anita Forte.  I was a little disappointed that Cooter did not wear his “Sunday Best” workout pants.  They are fancy…you should see them.

Hard start at 5:30 with a southern mission statement and we were off.

I failed miserably at this exercise.  I only needed Griswold there to tell me “if you can’t do it you can’t Q it.”  I went as hard as I could until I gave out.  I think some of the other PAX had a hard time with it too.  Purplerain was bumping his gums but I couldn’t understand what he was saying due to the pain.

We had one minute left…time for some supermans by Couch Potato.  #miserable.  Hard Stop

Count off for Nameorama.  Cheech earned his name….it looked like his glasses were filled with smoke.

Couch Potato was still leading superman’s.  He refused to stop.

Announcements.   Birdman has the Q for the Rolling Stone.  Gertrude was taking money for the shutdown fund.

Prayers. V and Sassoon are traveling to New Zealand for a backpack experience….impressive to travel at that age.  Prayers for Laettner’s family.  All those affected by the Shutdown.  Pillbox’s stones.  We hope he can rub them out soon.

Tony Romo took us out in a great prayer at the end.
