We have needed rain in Carteret County for a while. I was hoping not to get it all at once but higher powers had other plans. YHC woke up at 0430 with the rain hitting the windows and the lighting popping all around.
As I arrived to Rotary park to survey the grounds and try to find the driest spot possible I realized there really wasn’t one. The fields were a river so YHC had to OMAHA almost everything I had planned. I saw Reef pull up over at the anchor B and we decided to converge together this morning if anyone showed up . At 525 a few cars started to show . 2 minutes and 1 minute warning was given at 0530 the rains lightened up a little the mission statement and creed was given . We started warmarama directly after the mission statement.

At this point the OG triple OG pulled up and decided to join us on this fine morning.

YHC directed everyone let’s mosey. We took off out to the loop road headed towards the J.D. Took a left down 20th and took a left at the cross fit . As we ran by no Dipper SMH. The pax went through the gate took a left and met at the parking lot beside the basketball courts for the Thang. The fields were soaked wet and it begin soccer season didn’t want to destroy the fields. So the ground and pound would happen on asphalt today.
The Thang:
Ladder of Mt Climbers and Merkins
We started out on one end of the parking lot with 10 Mt. Climbers and run to the other end of the parking lot for 1 merkin.
We did a ladder going from 10 Mt. Climbers down to 1 and 1 Merkin up to 10.
Planking for the six. When the six was in we moseyed around the field to the fence for balls to the wall and ppl chair. An 8 ct for every man we did this twice.
After the last balls to the wall we moseyed back to the parking lot for the second and third round of the thang.
5 cones lined up YHC instructed every man to line up shoulder to shoulder for the following.
Cone 1 10 Burpees back pedal to the start
Cone 2 20 Merkins back pedal to the start
Cone 3 30 LSF back pedal to the start
Cone 4 40 Squats back pedal to the start
Cone 5 50 Mt. Climbers back pedal to the start
Plank for the 6 directly after the six was in YHC instructed the Pax back on the line for one more round.
Starting with Cone 5 50 Mt. Climbers karaoke back to the start
Cone 4 40 Squats karaoke back to the start
Cone 3 30 LSF karaoke back to the start
Cone 2 20 Merkins karaoke back to the start
Cone 1 10 Burpees karaoke back to the start
Plank for the six. After the six was in Mosey back to the fence beside the soccer field for 10 ct Balls to the wall and 10 ct ppl chair every man.
One last 10 ct per man balls to the wall mosey back to the flag for Mary.
When the bottom fell out again on the way to the flag YHC called OMAHA one more time and headed to the shelter. for Mary:

Thank you men for beating the fart sack and braving the elements this morning. We all can grow this movement one step and one beat down at a time. It was my pleasure to lead this morning and looking forward to the next time.
