YHC was informed, on Tuesday, that he was the Q for the Chicken Shack… according to Winnie the Pooh who is now the official site Q for the Chicken Shack. Still recovering from a cracked rib and the fact that I am not really a “Band’s” aficionado, ole Boss was apprehensive about leading the Pax on such a great excursion. Actually a Pax member alluded to the idea of YHC possibly skipping the moment knowing Winnie would cover. So, Tweed…that be me….waited until the very last second to spring from behind the building and descend on the restless Pax… to begin the adventure.

Now a little background. YHC had gone searching for a quick tutorial on some band exercises. Low and behold, I found some good ones such as the one attached. I learned that you have to watch these multiple times to really understand the intricacies of working with resistance bands!  I actually discovered, after watching it over and over, one notices the bands. Wow, at first, I never saw them. They really do work wonders….I was so excited….for the morning workout of course!!!!

After the mission statement and disclaimer…..is that still required?….everyone grabbed a band and we moseyed down the street, turned on Turner and circled up in the church parking lot. The bands were staying with the Pax.

We did multiple exercises with and without the bands…hell at this late date I can barely remember the date!!!

We moseyed down to the water beside the Beaufort Inn. It was a beautiful morning and we were serenaded by the sound of sandblasting from across the water at 5:45 in the morning!! We did multiple band maneuvers and exercises with all the Pax members adding their favorites.

We were off to Front st and onto a shaky dock with high pilings for some additional bands work. I must admit that a few of the Beaufort Boys were nervous over the water. Bunion was uncharacteristically agitated and Winnie almost went over when his band came over a short piling. Twitty was somewhat unsteady but the boys from” off ” FlipOVa and Dogtown, held their on without too much bitching….go figure!

Off for an Indian to intersectiion by StillWater. A few more exercises…are we really supposed to remember  ALL the exercises…who made those rules?  Moseyed to the boardwalk and a few more yada, yada, yada…exercises. Had time for Mary…I think BossTweeds….but who really cares?

Circled up and DogTown took us out.

Great morning and special for Old BossTweed.
