YHC was a little nervous for this Q as it was a little out of the ordinary and he wasn’t sure on timing, ability or if the PAX would be willing to partake. He knew he needed at least 6 to beat the fartsack for it to work and with only 2 HC’s and an FNG he was only up to 4 Monday Night..YHC left home a little early to set up and saw passed Couch Potato on his usual run to the AO, feeling confident now he was up to five. After setting up at the Anita Forte Pier YHC saw PurpleRain already waiting….5 minute/1 minute given and very quickly the PAX was up to 8 and YHC was feeling confident. Mission and Disclaimer given for the FNG Hard start with a quick mosey around the parking lot, stopping back for a little

The Thang

YHC took a little time to explain The Thang. He brought (2) 8″ x 8″ x 10′ treated pilings with him…. These ain’t your mama’s coupons, they’re heavy. PAX split into two groups of four. Each group was to grab a piling and mosey to the pier at the end of the road (approx. .65 mi.). At the pier would be five cones for each team with a paper showing a different exercise. Each exercise was to be completed with 100 reps each (hence the Boondocks 500). The only rule was each PAX member had to touch the pier. First full PAX back to YHC’s truck was the winner. With the goal of teamwork each PAX took off.  Couch Potato, team one gazelle blasted off with the goal of getting a head start on the exercises. It was only halfway through team two decided to send their own gazelle for the same. Each PAX made it to the Pier for

Team One – (100 Each) Hand release Merkins, Overhead Claps, Alabama Ass Kickers, Monkey Humpers, Alt. Shoulder Taps

Team two – (100 Each) Diamond Merkins, Air press, Boss Tweeds, Mountain Climbers, Sit Downs

Grab your coupon and head back to trucks….the trip back was taxing and it was awesome to see the teamwork between each team. There was a lot of strategy and planning amongst each team and lots of “i’ll take it at the next light pole.” Team two was the ultimate winner but showed ultimate class in coming back to help team one and we all finished together. T-claps to all.

with time left we hit the wall for peoples chair (10 count per man) x 2, and BTTW (5 count per man) x 2. with 5 minutes left we had a little

American Hammer IC x 20

Low Slowwwww Flutter x 10 (Couch potato)

Chill Cut Plank x 25 count (Josh Lippee FNG who even called out YHC for getting on one knee….even though he was just checking his watch haha)

30 seconds left mosey to flags for

Prayer Requests, Praises, COT/Prayer led by Griswold

Enjoyed this morning men, thanks for hanging in there with me in trying something new. Hope you all got a good workout but I know teamwork was needed as no man in this group could carry that coupon to the pier and back alone. It’s a beautiful thing to see men that barely know each other come together for a common goal and succeed. It was an Honor to lead.
