Filling in on short notice I slapped a quick workout together to include some exercises we had not seen in a while.  Except for one all the Beaufort regulars were present, all pillars of the community ready to enjoy what was a cool and pleasant morning for June.  We started with a quick warm up and stretch on the Maritime Museum deck where we bumped into another Beaufort workout group where a West Side Story turf battle was narrowly avoided.

Staying on Front Street the plan was to do one exercise after running the first block then two at the second and so forth.

First block and 20 hand release merkins

Second block 20 hand release merkins and 20 merkins

Third block 20 diamond merkins then 20 box cutters and for the first time in my history 20 squats

Fourth block 20 declining merkins 10 dive bombers 20 John Travoltas (or Fred Astaire) depending on your birthdate and 20 goodbye dollys.

After a run for a few blocks down Anne Street we stopped at the Backstreet parking lot for a max set of merkins

Returning to the boardwalk for a Mary of dying cockroaches and Boss Tweeds to wrap it up.

Always enjoyable and casual with our small group in some fantastic weather, look forward to leading again soon!
