13 Pax joined YHC at his AO on this Monday morning. After a brief mission statement and disclaimer we headed off towards the east end of Evans Street. YHC wanted to change up the normal warmarama location.

Warmarama:

  • SSH – 20 IC
  • Windmill – 10 IC
  • Sun Gods – 15 forward IC
  • Sun Gods – 15 reverse IC
  • Cotton PIckers – 10 IC
  • Right over left – 10 count
  • Left over right – 10 count

The Thang:

After warmarama, we headed west down Evans St for the merkin mile. The merkin mile is a 1 mile run stopping every 1/4 mile to perform 25 merkins at each stop for a total of 100. YHC added 10 LBC’s IC at each stop as well. The 1 mile run lead us to the parking lot of St. Egberts.

YHC instructed the pax to line up on the fence on one end of the parking lot. First exercise was 5 burpees, run down and back across the parking lot. Next exercise was 5 burpees, 10 double wide merkins then run down/back twice. Next, 5 burpees, 10 double wides, 15 LBC’s IC, then down/back 3 times.

Next we bear crawled to the middle of the parking lot and backwards jog back to the fence. We did this twice. Next exercise was Lt. Dan to the middle of the lot and backwards jog back to the fence.

Next it was time for a little jack webb. First exercise was the Freddie Mercury. Started with 4 IC then went to Peter Parker x 4 IC. Many shout outs to Steamer once the pax figured out what we were doing. We worked our way up to 8, 12 & 16 IC of each. Starting to run short on time YHC decided to skip 20 and head back towards the flag. But first, YHC instructed the pax to get in two lines.

Time for the Dipper run. Speaking of Dipper, maybe he will post at his old AO before YHC’s year is up. SMH. The pax headed west down Evans St towards the flag. We took a break at 13th street to let the pax regroup and did LSF x 15 IC. Still in the Indian run we headed down Evans stopping at 9th street this time for LBC’s x 15 IC, 10 merkins and 10 double wide merkins. Running short on time YHC instructed the pax there would be no more stops. Arriving back at the flag right at 6:15!

Announcements:

Announcements were made about the work outs on Tuesday. Also, the FCA golf tournament will be on 11/9, course TBD.

Puddles took us out in a great prayer.

Moleskin:

Having spent the past couple of days at Vidant with my son, YHC has had a lot of time to reflect on what’s really important in life. YHC needed this as we often get sucked up in our normal day to day routines and often forget about what’s really important. Sit and reflect for a few minutes tonight and ask yourself how are you living? Don’t get sucked in, make tomorrow better.

It is always pleasure to lead,

Aflac
