YHC had not Q’d at the HIN in a while and was excited to get back at it. I tried to recreate my 1st workout at the HIN with some new mixed in. YHC gave the mission statement with Dancehall and the bells joining, which was Ronny B approved. We headed west stopping at the first parking lot to warm up with the bells.

Warmarama:

SSH x 15. Cotton Pickers x 10 IC, Windmill x 10 IC, Sun gods x 10 IC forward & reverse, Right over left & left over right stretch, monkey humpers x 10 IC

Time for tha thang. HIN’ers headed back east to the far parking lot at the college. This is where it all went down originally. We have 4 stations for a rotating circuit of 30 seconds each. The 3 islands on one side of the parking lot and the brick wall being the 4th. Two years ago we had enough to split up and have 6-7 people at each station, with numbers lower YHC decided to keep everyone together.

Station 1

Lunges OYO for 30 seconds. Run to the opposite side of the parking lot and back.

Station 2

Merkins OYO for 30 seconds. Run to the opposite side of the parking lot and back.

Station 3

Squats OYO. Run and back

Station 4

Balls to the wall with each man giving a 5 count.

We rinsed and repeated this two more times. The last time YCH reduced the time to 15 seconds encouraging the pax to do a rep a second.

Next we moseyed closer to the main entrance of the college and found some curb. YHC instructed the pax we would be doing a bear crawl / derkin countdown. Start on one side and bear crawl across the street to the other curb. Feet on the curb and complete 10 derkins, bear crawl back for 9, back across for 8 and so on. With the pax moaning at 6, YHC decided to Omaha this and stop at 5.

Time for a little hill work. Steamer would have been proud of this but he was probably off swimming in his speedo. At the bottom of the hill, we started with Alternating should taps x 4 IC. Ran to the top for 4 squats and back down. 8 AST and back up for 8 squats. We did this for 12, 16 and 20 reps of each.

Headed back to the shovel flag we stopped at the benches for dips x 10 IC, step ups x 10 IC and another round of dips x 10 IC. Back to the flag to join the bells for Mary.

Announcements and Prayer requests were made. Shroom took us out.
