16 of us gathered on Saturday for 4.7 miles of fun, starting with a rolling warmarama on the football field where we spelled out “U N C” while doing the following exercises:

SSHs IC x 15

CPs IC x 15

Windmills IC x 15

Sun Gods IC x 15 forward, 15 reverse

Hillbillies IC x 15

Merkins SC x 15

various stretches

THE THINGS

We then headed around the east side of West, across the street and down the Bridges St. Ext. path stopping along the way for a rack & stack/unstack consisting of the following:

5 burpees, 10 WWIs, 15 Merkins, 20 Squats, 25 Plank Jacks

YHC’s original plan was to keep traveling down the path to the Friendly Market, but Elvis had been calling Squealer since before the work-out began, and Duck Butter had inexplicably refused to open up the bathroom for him at the football field (he was only about us running on the football field), so an Omaha was called. We turned left into Swinson Park and did the last stack of exercises in front of the restrooms while Squealer hit the head, before heading back to West.

Upon returning to the west side parking lot we first did a merkin suicide (run to 1st line 1 merkin, run to 2nd line 2 merkins and so on through five lines), and then a catch-me-if-you-can partner run with 5 Carolina Drydocks.

We then formed two lines and did an Indian Run around the school and to the pull-up rack for two rounds of partner pull-ups AMRAP (2nd partner running around the back building) and two rounds of dips AMRAP.

With only a minute 15 seconds left we moseyed back to the vehicles with no time for Mary.

MOLESKIN

I was surprised that Rameses didn’t pick up on what letters we were making on the football field as he is normally good at picking up on anything Tar Heel related.  Regardless, I was happy to see all the State grads there to help out.  As always it was an honor to lead.
