18 men gathered at CCC for a real taste of a Carterican fall morning. 44 degrees makes a wonderful temperature to run. Misty called a standard run the evening before. As Bunion and the FNG returned from the Standard run, Misty was not to be found. However, he posted for the workout and was ready to roll. Gert required a formal introduction with the FNG present and YHC obliged.

Distance options were offered to the group. With the original Site Q present, YHC knew that a warmarama was off limits. LETS RUN.

The Pax took off down Evans with Misty and Laettner leading the charge. They were shortly joined by Knotty of course. Madoff and Hillary were up front at a brisk pace, followed by Water WIngs, Shroom and YHC. Bunion obviously slowed it down and ran with Mersa.

Puddles and WIfi pushed hard and made it across the bridge and back. Might of been Wifi’s first trip across the bridge on foot. Uncle Ricky aka Brockovich joined us from F3 Charleston and pushed through 3.5 Miles. Great to have him in town.

We passed a big group of ruckers on our way back across the bridge. Marcus hung in there tough with Coach Gert. A big T-claps goes out to Ronnie B and Misty for going back and bringing the 6 man in.  Not sure of all the distances- Misty and Knotty at least 5, Laettner, Water WIngs, Shroom, Bunion, Mersa and YHC 5 miles, all others a good 4 miler.

Thanks to Crabby for the opportunity to lead today. The last time I Qed the Stampede was the morning after we lost Papa Smurf. Ill never forget the feeling among the Pax that morning. Be thankful for the opportunity to run and exercise. Take advantage of what the Good Lord has given us all. Laettner took us out in prayer.
