With The Dipper on the Q for the Hole in None, we colluded to do a convergence warmarama and Mary and peel off in the middle. With 33 Pax strong gathered around the 1 minute warning was given and at 5:30 sharp, YHC gave the disclaimer and mission statement. Much to the surprise of most kettle bellers YHC called for a group mosey and the whole PAX headed out together toward the front gate. Just shy of the front gate we began.
Warmarama: Sungods x 10 IC forward and reverse
Imperial walkers IC x 10
Windmills x 10 IC
Side straddle sliders x 15 IC
Cotton pickers x 10 IC
At this point we called for a mosey which Dipper stopped about 100 feet in and we performed a ten’s exercise. Bear crawl across the driveway for 1 dry dock, bear crawl back for 2 and so forth until we reached 10. At this point we split off and headed back to the clubhouse to retrieve the bells. With bells in hand we slow moseyd back up the parking lot for the thang.
The Thang: Partner up for a modified face off. Partners face each other from opposite sides of the parking lot. Everyone will perform 2 reps of the called exercise, drop the bell and run to the other side, use the partners bell and do 4 reps, return for 6 reps, back for 8 reps, and back for 10 reps. Basically 30 reps of the called exercise with 4 sprints between each set of reps. The exercises were as follows; right side bicep curls, left side bicep curls, right side kettle bell row, left side same, goblet squats, kettle bell chest hinges, and the crowd favorite squat shoulder press combo where we drop to a squat raise up into a shoulder press and back down. All reps done 2,4,6,8, and 10 ct. with a lap in between each. Once done here we headed to the picnic shelter where we took to the balls to the wall position and attempted to pass a kettle bell from one end to the other. This was done at CCC last time I Q’d but with the slippery dampness of the concrete and wall today it was more of a bell sling down the line than a pass. Next we did peoples chair and passed the kettle bell down the line. Once the bell was passed the full length we passed it back while doing a bicep curl on each arm while holding the people’s chair position.
Once done here we did an Indian run with the bells over our heads back up to the parking lot. Here we lined up shoulder to shoulder and did one squat, dropped to do one burpee and we repeated this at each of the next 10 parking space lines. We then dropped the bells and started back up the hill doing 1 merkin at the first parking space, bear crawling to the next space and doing 2 merkins, and continued increasing by 1 merkin at each space until we had bear crawled 10 parking spaces and done 10 merkins in the last space for a total of about 70 ft. of bear crawls and 55 merkins. From there we did another Indian run with the bells above our heads back to meet up with the HIN crowd for Mary.
Mary: Honestly don’t remember as The Dipper led but I remember it being awesome.
We ended with announcements and a prayer and were off to coffeteria.
