i’m late on this BB so the details are a little fuzzy…here goes nothing…
The pressure was on YHQ to make sure a significant PAX arrived in BFT to compete with whatever Madoff had thrown together at the last minute. With foul weather looming I awaited their arrival under the Island Proper awning. Almost all of the regulars had arrived when none other than Boss Tweed (previously threatening to jump ship to Rotary Park for the morning) rolls by us all and flashes an awfully cool wave as he continued down Front St towards Turner. This solicited an immediate discussion of revoking his BFT PAX card if he was able to conduct such a cold drive-by of his BFT Brethren. Then from around the corner, he steps…The Boss. Four lettered greetings were exchanged and a huge sigh of relief as he joined the group again. Sneaky move Boss, nice work.

Sorry for the late BB fellas. It was a good workout. Thanks for the opportunity to lead and load up a bunch of heavy stuff and bring it to Front Street to play. Great to have Boss Tweed back from the infirmary. I’d hate to be the kid that left that hatch open. Until next time, gentlemen…Beaufort Rules.
