Another beautiful, glorious morning was waiting for us in Carterico.  A quick two minute warning was given and with a larger than usual circle of PAX,  I botched the mission statement so bad, off we went without any disclaimer to the upper parking lot.  As we were leaving headlights were showing up in the distance.  We started with SSH’s and Doogie comes in so two burpees were in order.  We continued with the usual Cotton Pickers, Wind Mills, and jeep comes in hot with Second Mile.  Two more burpees called.  We finished with sun gods, Willie Mays Hays, and a little Stretch.

Since Jang was with us, some grass time had to be in order so off to the center of the soccer field we went.  When you get on the field, you never know if it is freshly cut with clippings everywhere, knee high grass, soaking wet, or just right.  Today was one of those mornings it was perfect.

First round was four corners.  As a group we went to each corner of the soccer field, performed an exercise, and back to the center till we go to the next corner.  Exercises were:

LBC x 20 IC

SSH’s x 20 IC

Merkins x 20 SC

Plank Hold 20 count

From here we lined up on the side line for sets of sprints– side line to side line

Now the fun one, a round of 7’s.  Started with 6 burpees to one WWI going to each side line.

Next was an Indian run around the field -one lap

To the shelter for the last round. Dips, Erkins, Derkins, Box Jumps with a lap around the tree of life after each set

Off to an Mary for all the usual exercises.

YHC took us out in prayer.

It is always a pleasure to lead.  Each time is a new experience and I always learn a little more about myself and how to be a better communicator and leader.  Leading a workout is not always about the exercises, but how do you communicate to the PAX what you want accomplished.  Today was one of those days when I wasn’t always clear with instructions, but you help me become better and I will take that lesson to my daily life at work and home.  F3 has changed us all in many ways.  Let’s all take a little of what F3 has given us and use it in our daily lives and continue giving back to F3 by coming out as much as you can and growing what we have,

Till next time-Suitcase
