The call went out, looking for someone in the west brave enough to come lead our Beaufort Brothers for a workout.  YHC could not turn down the opportunity to hang with these men and enjoy the views of beautiful Beaufort.  Upon the release of my Preblast it quickly became apparent that a friendly competition had ensued about who would have the most post, East or West.  With this information WiFi was on the HC hunt and he did not disappoint.

I knew it would be a good morning as I hear my namesake playing so elegantly making its way out of someone’s speakers.  Any day that starts with a little Prince is destined to be great.  The PAX started filing in and I started getting excited, I realized that we had 16 PAX that were looking to get better.

YHC warned the PAX that I can tend to offer some motivational words while Qing, wanted or not, cheesy or not.  So we were off to take a tour of the water and beautiful homes of beaufort.  The workout consisted of a rack and stack with a mosey from block to block.  Starting with Merkins x5 increasing in reps by 5 each location while adding on Squats, LBCs, Air Presses, and SSH going all the way up to 25 reps for each exercise and them unpack it.  We started off running West then jumped over to Ann St, then ended up on Live Oak Street.  At this point we were a good distance from the flag and had to get back.  15 light poles back to flag, merkin at each pole (1 at pole 1, 2 at pole 2, etc).  Upon arriving at the flag the PAX had done 278 merkins and a little over 2.5 miles.  I do not like ending on 278 so lets make it an even 300 with knocking out 22 more merkins.  A little Mary and it was time for Hard Stop.

announcements: Slick Cam, Stampede, Rucky, Hashmark, Mullet Wrapper, Dingbatter, Field of Dreams, and Sasquatch

Prayers: My M’s Aunt, Praise for Constanza with New Born Niece or Nephew and friend that is cancer free, Prayers for several brothers that are traveling or getting ready to.  I led us out in Prayer.

As Mentioned I like to talk: I have found myself talking about leadership a lot lately, I have had the opportunity to have strong leaders in my life and love to encourage others.  2 major qualities to leadership: 1. Show up, you cannot lead if you are not there.  Jesus said “Where a mans treasure is there also his heart is”.  Treasure is anything of value and lets face it our time is precious.  When we give that time to others and show up it means something, it means a lot.  The opposite is true also, If you do not show up PAX, family, employees, etc will not look to you or even worse they will stop showing up.  The second is taking Risks, You must step out of your comfort zone and take a risk.  Risks are of all different sizes but all are important and necessary to be a leader and make progress in our lives.

I appreciate F3 so much, it has given me the opportunity to help other men become better men, which has made me a better man.  It has also provided men that were willing to lead me and teach me to help me get better.  Thank you to the Men that gave it away to me and I pray that we all continue to do that.  Thanks for having me down guys, well worth the drive and I will be back.

By the way East won the bet 16 Posters to 10 Posters.  Western guys I am coming home and we will keep growing!
