This morning could have been an easy fartsack, but instead we knocked out a few miles and some really good 2nd F.

I thought I would be on the trail by myself this morning, but at 5:14 Buttoncap came in hot and saved the morning. We instantly began the ruck.  The trail was flooded from the weeks rain, so we had to modify the loop, because wet feet would not be an option on a morning like this. Unfortunately, I never hit start on my tracking app, so our mileage is only a guess but we were around 3 miles by the time we got back to our trucks.  We were blessed with a beautiful full moon that gave enough light to lead the way for most of the ruck.  Today was a simple ruck, but a great one.  Thank you @Buttoncap, the one on one fellowship was a great way to start the day.  I enjoy learning more about each of you and your families.

I have spent many miles on that trail, from going out there as a child, to taking my kids out there to completing my first ultra. The Tideland trail really is a sense of home to me.  Today reminded me how blessed we are to live where we do and to have the experiences, many never will.  Men, we live in an area that is truly remarkable and one day will be very special to our children.  It also reminded me that simple family outings can make life long memories.

.I do not get out to as many F3 events as I would like to, but I consider you my brothers and I look forward to the times we do get together for this thing known as F3.

Have a blessed day men.
