Rumor has it in the west, that YHC isn’t able to run without constantly talking. Point taken. But the truth is, I’ve logged many more miles alone than with a running partner.  At 5:30 this morning, YHC found himself standing solo in the parking lot. This is the second time this has happened in nearly 2 years of Q’ing F3 run/rucks.   I don’t blame anyone for laying in that cozy warm fart sack today. It was cold, and the wind was strong and swirling in a way that seemed to be in your face no matter which direction you ran. Actually though, it wasn’t disappointing to be solo this morning. There was still some great 2nd F.   Not the kind of 2nd F that involves crude fart jokes like in the Palmetto van, but a rare time of quiet reflection with the Lord our God. With yesterday’s Bible school study still heavy on my mind, this rare opportunity for 45 minutes with no distractions offered a productive time of prayer, and asking the Lord for strength and  guidance, moving forward for life that is pleasing to Him.

We always say that F3 is designed to help us us be better men. It’s amazing how when you’re the only one at an F3 work out, it can still have the same affect.
