When Dumpster Dawg reached out about Qing The Mullet Wrapper two days before my 40th Birthday I jumped at the chance.  I prepared a nice workout that was heavy in the Merkin department only to find out that The Tony Romo high jacked my idea at The Rolling Stone the day prior.  Oh well, what’s a Q if he can’t improvise?  I showed up at the park to see Cheech already warming up (by warming up I mean already shedding layers of clothes).  Next Pillbox rolled in followed by Princess and Couch Potato.  We hit the one minute warning and Navy came in hot just under the gun.  Hard start, mission statement delivered along with a note that I’d be turning 40 over the weekend so I hoped everyone could count that high this morning.

Warmarama – 40 side straddle hops and move to the end line of the parking lot.  We’d perform 2 burpees here, mosey to the opposite end for 2 more burpees and so on until we hit 40.  I think we all lost count so extra credit may have been earned.  The cat fight was real cats back in the woods and not between Cheech and Princess for who’s team will win the team challenge.

Next we’d mosey around the park stopping along the way for various exercises to target a full body workout.

First stop along the tennis courts – 40 air presses

Second stop at the pull up bars in the woods – 40 total (indian run style).  5 by each PAX and then two addition to hit 40 as a team

Third stop by the playground – 10 merkins, 10 LBCs, 10 merkins, 10 LBCs, 10 merkins, 10 LBCs, 10 merkins, 10 LBCs (40/40)

Fourth stop at the picnic tables – 20 dips x 2 sets

Fifth stop – partner bicep curls, partner one planks while partner two curls their feet, 20 reps x 2 sets

Sixth stop – behind the gym, 5 squats mosey 40 yards to soccer goal, 5 squats until you reach 40 total squats

Seventh stop – soccer goal triangle abs x 40, 1st goal LBCs, 2nd goal American Hammers, 3rd goal Dying Cockroaches

Eight stop – 2 burpees at the back light pole, run to the far pole, 2 LBCs (was going to push to 40 but Omaha as we were short on time)

Ninth stop – playground monkey bars for pull ups (teamwork to 40 again)

Mary – Pax Choice (Navy = low slow flutter, Cheech = good morning, CP = take a wild guess? he always has that S on his chest, Princess = mountain climbers, Pillbox = FM, Sparkles = 1 burpee and a Hard Stop.  My watch shows 2.4 miles traveled this morning.

Namarama, Announcements for upcoming Qs and Christmas Party, prayer requests for KFC as well as several ongoing unspoken needs, CP lead us out with his usual fine words.
