YHC asked for the Q this morning to start of his birthday right. YHC couldn’t think of a better way to begin his 52nd year on God’s green earth than leading F3 brothers in a spirited ruck. Four hearty souls showed up out of the gloom to help YHC celebrate. Mission statement and disclaimer (sort of) given, we headed out towards EI for a ruck unsullied by merkins, burpees or anything else that would spoil the morning. Along the way we enjoyed fellowship and learned about Ladybug’s vacation. I especially enjoyed getting time to talk with Buttoncap and learning more about him and his family.
We stopped at the apex of the bridge on the way back in for a quick picture and then finished out 3.9M in 59:49 for a hard stop.
Announcements: Rolling Stone tomorrow @ Croatan – come out and support Barnacle for his VQ!, Prayer requests: Laettner spent the night in the hospital with a member of his ministry who was hit by a car. Laettner says they will be ok but keep them all in your prayers. Putin is taking the ASVAB today and medical exam tomorrow for the Coast Guard.
