The Ghost Flag Goes Home

Buttoncap came down with the flu and asked me to step in and I was excited to have the chance to lead today because I knew that we were going to have some Cape Fear visitors coming to take their Ghost Flag home.  YHC arrived early to recon and welcome the Cape Fear PAX and they were already here.  I said my hellos did my recon and was ready to go.  I thought I had spoken to everyone then Flounder comes rolling out of a car half asleep and looking a little cold I assured him we would be warm soon.  We had time for pictures of CF with the flag as well as Generational picture of Busted Grill, Fonzie with McGregor and Down Hill (from late 70s to early teens pretty awesome).  Local PAX rolled in and time to go.

Pasquale did not slow down on the mumble chatter but I would not be slowed today and love all grumble and chatter from everyone throughout keeps all of us on go and willing to laugh at ourselves.

Mosey to far lot for warmarama: SSH x25ic, Burpees x5, Cotton x15ic, Burpessx5, Windmill x15ic (Lunchbox noted that my form may not be correct), Burpees x5.

partner up with someone from another region it was pretty close to even not everyone had an unknown partner but close.  Catch Me If You Can. 10 Merkins bearcrawl, 10 Diamonds Bearcrawl, 10 Doublewides Bearcrawl.  With a group this size there can be a large span between our guys up front and our 6, everyone did a great job going back for them and Dino also stepped up to call some Mary exercises when finishing early. Burpees x5 after circuit.

We Mosey to Basketball Court for an 11s with Merkins and Squats. Burpees x5 after routine. You probably see that burpees x5 will follow each circuit of work.

Mosey to Tennis Courts for. Merkin Webicide. Bearcrawl to each line adding 5 more Merkins each time and run back. YHC noted the last two lines could run no Bearcrawl, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 Total Merkins. Apparently 4-5 PAX did not hear me on the no Bearcrawl last two lines and did extra Credit not sure what they thought of that happy or mad but they pushed through and finished it their way.  Several of us joined them to keep things moving

Mosey to soccer field and to do a DORA 100 Merkins, 200 monkey bumpers, 300 squats, 400 air presses. I noticed that time was starting to run short so Omaha’d to 200 air presses.

Mosey to basketball court. Peoples chair while each PAX makes a basket, switch to squats, monkey bumpers. I thought it was fairly obvious that all the Merkins may be affecting our skills.

Mosey to flags for a short Mary LBCs x25ic, Burpees x5, Box cutters ic until hard stop.

announcements: Laettner doing Christmas morning workout at Croatan HS 0530, sounded like Blart May be doing something also. YHC will Q Boonedocks on the 26th. LETC let us know about a ruck CSAUP event in Wilmington in March details to follow.

Prayers: Snooki and the M, LETC and our cousin in loss of unborn child and 26 week birth of the surviving baby.  Raises for how the F3 PAX have provided comfort for these families even though it is in different areas of our state.  I led us out and we went to fellowship for coffee.

It was truly a blessing and honor to lead these men today. I want to thank my Eastern Carterico PAX for coming down today to welcome our CF brothers. It is so cool that 14 guys got up early today drove 1.5 hours from CF to Post with us.  They came to take home their flag but that was just the excuse the reason is because F3 brothers need each other no matter what region.  32 men met today and allowed me to lead them that is humbling.  I look forward to our next time together.
