As YHC checked the weather forecast, I was excited to see the 40 degrees and rain. These are the times when that gut check is necessary. As Dredd discovered when he attended selection at the French commando school, anyone can go to a climate controlled gym and workout or run on a treadmill but outside in the real world is where true magic happens. All pax who posted today made the mental commitment to do it. We did not tell ourselves it is cold and wet so I can’t do it, just the opposite. Just like life does not happen in a bubble, neither does the conditions for posting and bettering yourself. So as the fartsack monster tapped me on the shoulder this morning, I gave him a high five in the face.

As YHC rolled into the parking lot, three other cars were already there, I made my final gear adjustments and exited my car to enter our chosen posting environment of rain and chill. The other pax joined. It was go time! Disclaimer givenand the veteran pax was off heading towards the bridge. we separated into two groups of two, Knotty head & Hillary, Suitcase & YHC. Over the bridge we went, around this time the rain stopped. On the return trip over the bridge we were met with a strong breeze directly in our face, but we were warmed up by this time so it did not phase us. Coming off the bridge we were greeted by the ruckers making their return trip home as well. Back to the flag we went. With all pax returning to the flag the following mileage was completed:

Knotty Head 5 miles

Hillary, Suitcase, Crabby 4 miles

Announcements- Hero Patriot, FOD tomorrow, Gordy Lee sunday, Christmas Party

Prayer Concerns- Nippleshots friend who had a stroke.

YHC took us out in a standing BOM.
