On this glorious morning we gathered at the college parking lot for another edition of traversing the highest peak in Carteret county, the bridge. As the pax gathered and started their stretching, Mr. Kotter from Wilmington introduced himself. All pax in earshot were looking around for Hoff asking where is he hiding? To our disappointment he was not in attendance. The route was discussed with our visitor and it was time to roll. Off we went on our normal route down Evans Street with the detour down Sunset Drive continuing toward the bridge. The pax started to thin out as normal, with Knotty head starting to take long strides and accelerating, Mr. Kotter was on a mission to catch the rabbit and the pursuit began. All pax journeyed over the bridge. Madoff was hot on my heels, but decided to turn around when he realized YHC, with a large group of other pax was headed for more mileage.
The return trip was under way as YHC was on the downhill side of the bridge on the return, Mr. Kotter had caught up with me asking if I had seen Knotty Head. I had not and started to laugh that Mr.Kotter had chosen such a target to chase this morning. All pax made it back to the college safely in time for COT.
