In the early gloom of this morning X-box and YHC  pulled into an empty parking lot to par take in a standard. After a quick jog around the bridge and stopping at the flag to wait for the other s to arrive. It was a large turnout for the Stampede with 15 pax members. As time ticked closer, welcome, route, & mission statement were conveyed and the horses were released to conquer the course we have been using recently to take advantage of the highest peak in Morehead, the bridge. Soon enough the pax took its usual order with Misty, Rosie, Flounder, & X-box in the lead of the group. Over the bridge, which has gotten easier and easier to go over for some reason, maybe its because we have logged several miles on that strip of concrete, steel and asphalt over the past several weeks, so much so that I have become all too familiar with where the joints in the bridge are that could be a ankle twister. Turning around at the base of the bridge to begin the trek back across. On toward the circle where there was no breeze or wind going south the rounding the circle and heading back north toward Morehead the breeze was there waiting for us to give some relief. Back down the causeway toward the bridge stopping at flag. Ramses, Gertrude, Misty, Rosie, Steamer, Flip and Flounder making another trip over the bridge and back again. Hard stop.

Bongwa, Suitcase and Meme- 3.2 miles or a 5K

Everyone else 5 miles

X box logged about 6 today
