The title may be a little misleading…don’t read into it too much.  Five men and an eager dog showed up in the gloom to better themselves this morning.  I was really surprised to see Couch Potato and Griswold this morning….who am I kidding…not really surprised but definitely impressed they were motivated to come to the workout and able to walk after the Palmetto Run.  Navy was already warming up when I got there and Skidmark was true to his word (HC) and was ready to attack The Green Mile.  Pleasantries were exchanged and a solid mission statement was given and we were off into the foggy gloom.  I am not sure I’ll ever get to say this again but I ran further than Couch and Griswold this morning.  It felt pretty good regardless of the fact that they both ran nearly 40 miles this past weekend.

Nameorama-Griswold was so tired he forgot his name.

Announcements-StayPuft on the Q at the Rolling Stone Tomorrow.

Prayers-Laettner’s Family, Navy’s 2.0, Palmetto Teams,

Navy led us in a great prayer at the end….standing.

I left in a hurry (as usual) to get to work and I pulled out of the Beach Mart heading home and couldn’t find my phone.  As I drove over the bridge I fumbled around in the dark to find my trusty phone and it was missing….oh no…I left it on the tail gate cover of my truck.  I pulled over after crossing the bridge to find it was still on the back of my truck.  The morning’s dew provided a suction for the phone to stick to the cover….I couldn’t believe it.  As I pulled over, I was reminded why I love this group so much…Navy pulled over immediately to check on me and then couchpotato.  What a great group I have been blessed to meet.

Have a great day gentlemen!

Maytag
