T-claps to Purplerain and Couch potato for their arrival by standard and continuing to train hard for their 6 man team in the Palmetto 200, with your dedication I am confident you will post an outstanding collective time.
3-1 minute warning, welcome and hard start.
Warmarama: In honor of Purplerain’s recent 45th birthday Q and blistering SSH exercises he called, we started with 14 SSH, new math style, a PAX favorite this morning. Mosey down the sidewalk with a stop for Sungods F& R, and 4×4’s. Mosey.
Stop at the far corner of the field to pick up garden blocks for each of the PAX for beginning the thang. Overhead block press’, block curls, block triceps extensions. Palate cleanser mosey. Purplerain pointed out that the central field was dry and that is a rare occasion recently. YHC was inspired and took advantage with exercises across the field: Block throw (2 handed shot put style), lunge to block, repeat across to mid field soccer goal. Navy seemed to be throwing his block the farthest and there was some question as to if his block was over-inflated. Again inspired, YHC called a football themed omaha for the PAX to Hike the block through legs and Crawl bear to block,repeat to sidewalk. More overhead press, biceps curl, and triceps block extensions, and a Palate cleanser mosey. Block carry overhead back out to the mid field soccer goal for a rotating round of 25 overhead block squats, 25 overhead block squats with alternating leg extension L then R (which incidentally was really entertaining to watch the collective body coordination and YHC is still laughing about how “Pretty” these made Princess feel!), and finally 25 block overhead copperhead squats. Palate cleanser 4×4’s and WW1’s. PAX line up with block held out front shoulder height for slow 10 count down the line, followed by PAX cirlce up and block hold to side. Some confusion created here by the Q as a new exercise explanation, appreciate the PAX willingness to go with it and also help some KETONE challenged PAX understand what the difference is between their right and left hands, Finnish off with a round of Drive the bus rotating the block like a steering wheel. Overhead block carry back to the starting point and one last round of block triceps extension because YHC didn’t think Couch potato had enough of them yet. Mosey to the flag for some extended Mary.
Mary- exercises called by the Q for the PAX to lead in rotation- Birdman Crunches, X/O’s, ABC’s, Dying cockroaches, and Superman’s to close out. Thanks to Couch potato for to offer continuing the superman’s through the announcements for us, maybe next time buddy.
