  • AO: Gordy Lee, Morehead City

I was delighted to arrive at Fort Macon and already hade some people waiting to get their workout on. Waited a few more minutes and was glad to see we had FryDaddy and PanAm in from Raleigh on some vacay. They had already ran almost 6 miles with Fia already and wanted some more.

We decided to start off with the dune side first and go ahead and get it out of the way and finish with the beautiful maritime forest. Xbox took off with Lassie right on his heels followed by the rest of the runners. Big Mic and his 2.0 rucked on a glorious Sunday morning.

After we finished some of us decided to go back for the father and son on their Sunday morning stroll. Fry Daddy and PanAm after running 9 and a half miles decided they wanted to do another loop and took off for another 3.5 miles. Very impressive 13 mile total for the day and not far from a half marathon on a Sunday morning. Very Strong!!!

We circled around for Name a Rama.

Announcements were the Knarr, Tablesetter, and Band of Brothers on Monday morning,

Prayer Requests for Blarts wife and family. Xbox also prayed for families in Raleigh we heard had some struggles with an OD last week. Xbox took us out in a great prayer and we went on our way.

Hope to see you next Sunday for the Gordy Lee!
