Just a few Tuesdays ago 11 motivated HIM’s met YHC in the 29° Carterican winter bliss for a proper dread pounding.  Due to the wet weather our focus would be limited to the track.  After what I remember to be a decent disclaimer and possible mission statement, we head off to the track for

Warm up

400 m  followed by 20 SSH and 15 windmills

400 m  with some down dog and cotton pickers

The Thang

The plan was to work up and then back down a ladder of differing distances on the track while adding and exercise each time.  As best I remember it went something like this

800 m 10 Merkins Ic

600 m 10 Merkins add 10 LBC if

400m add 10 mtn climbers

200 m add 10 180 jump squats

Back up to 400 still adding 5 burpees

600 m add 10 WW1

800m add 15 plank jacks if

Not much left at this point

Slow 400 m cool down

Mary

With just a couple min left we had time for some box cutters and American hammers

It was great to have Flounder back.  He took us out in BOM with a well spoken prayer to remind us of all of our many blessings.  I am always inspired by the grit of the men who regularly post even in the toughest of winter blues.  Till next time..
