The Rolling Stone Back Blast

What a beautiful morning for a work out.  It just doesn’t get any better.

YHC was excited this morning for a good beatdown as the PAX started rolling in hot as we counted down to the 1 minute warning.

Birdman, Laettner, McMuffin, McGregor, Plebe, Purplerain, Maytag

Mission Statement was given while the Pax chattered about Griswold and Buttoncap.

Griswold had a dental appointment….not sure what dentist office opens at 5:30.  We started a collection for a new alarm clock for Buttoncap.  So far we have $.31.  I’ll send a link for the gofundme later.

• 777 Exercise (Perform each exercise at each cone….7 in all)

• Monkey Humpers in Ascending Order 1….2…..3….4….to the song “Ring of Fire”.
• We got to 7 on this round.
• 777 Exercise (Perform each exercise at each cone….7 in all)
• Mountain Climbers 20 Count
• Squats 10 Count
• Burpees 3 Count  Mumble chatter started about halfway through this exercise.
• Merkins 10 Count  Heard a little chatter from Purplerain on this one…..I knew everyone did 300 on Tuesday so I increased this one from 5 to 10.

RING OF FIRE

• Monkey Humpers in Ascending Order 1….2…..3….4….to the song “Ring of Fire”.

YHC challenged the group to get 9 on this round….the team came through with only a bit of grumbling.

Mosey around the parking lot.

YHC was trying to line up “America the Beautiful” by Ray Charles on his phone so we could play it during Mary and had to take a little short cut.  Purplerain quickly called me out.

We moseyed to the flagpole and had Mary under the Croatan High School Flag while Ray did his thing.

Laettner went over the upcoming schedule.  Snookie has the Q at the FOD on 9/23.

Prayer requests for the families of Plebe, Maytag and Snookie.

YHC led the team in prayer.

Special thanks to Plebe for encouraging/making/inviting his 2.0 McGregor for getting up and making it this morning and having a great workout.   I don’t think I ever saw 5:00 am while I was in the 8th grade if it didn’t involve a gun or a fishing pole.

Griswold thanks for letting me lead this morning.  I enjoyed it.
